PIERCE COUNTY MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
On August 2, 2005, Cascade and Pierce County entered into a Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) on management of Lake Tapps. The MOU outlines
a coordinated effort for the long-term operation and management
of Lake Tapps for public water supply and recreational purposes,
and represents the first step in the development of a long-term
cooperative effort between Cascade and the County to maintain Lake
Tapps.
