In
2005, Cascade completed its first Transmission
and Supply Plan (TSP). The TSP outlines Cascade's water
supply and transmission objectives for the next 20 years. Additional
information is provided through year 2050 to provide a planning
context for the capital facilities that Cascade plans to construct.
Key elements of the plan are:
- Description of the water system
- Plans, agreements and policies
- Demand forecast
- Conservation efforts
- Reclaimed water
- Water supply strategy
- Infrastructure needs and capital improvement program
- Source protection program
- Water quality
- Operation and maintenance
- Capital funding strategy
The plan will be updated every 6 years. All Cascade Members have
their own water supply plans that address local distribution issues.
