Cascade Issues DNS Transfer of Dike 13 to Bonney Lake

A Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) for the dedication of a portion of Dike 13 (leased by Cascade to the City of Bonney Lake for operation of a public amenity that is similar to and in conjunction with the City’s current use of Allan Yorke Park) for the purposes of widening the West Tapps Highway Right-of-Way and the construction of a sidewalk by the City has been prepared in compliance with the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) under Chapter 42.21C RCW by the Cascade Water Alliance (the project proponent and lead agency).

The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public online and at Cascade’s offices.

This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of this notice. Written comments must be postmarked or e-mailed on or before September 28, 2011 to:
