Cascade and Puget Sound Energy reached agreement on Cascade's purchase of Lake Tapps and executed an Asset Purchase Agreement in April 2008. The purchase of Lake Tapps is a complex real estate transaction, involving over 150 individual parcels of property and numerous easements. The Asset Purchase Agreement provides for closing on the transaction within 24 months of execution.
